This is one of those videos I wished I had made. It’s just ridiculously cool, as is Florence. I don’t normally want to see people perform live, but I’d go to her concert given the chance. Such great music!

Plus, red hair is totally awesome. I want to photograph more red-headed peeps. Starting with her! She’s quirky, and seems to like the outrageous. I like people who are willing to step outside the box and aren’t afraid to look ‘silly’.

Can anyone make this happen?

Directed by: Arev Manoukian
Produced by: Stephanie Swedlove & Arev Manoukian

You should also watch the Making Of because if you are anything like me, you’ll be dying to know how they did it. And let’s just say, it looks like it was a lot of work.

Genius. Absolute genius.

I dare anyone to challenge the awesomeness of this video. IT’S A TOUGH DANCE TO DO!

Love how everyone instantly gets out their cameras/phones and starts recording. ‘DANCING WOMEN! OMG! Sooo going on youtube!’ Even though it’s already being obviously filmed and photographed from a million angles already.

Cool stuff like this never happens in my city. Maybe I should organise something myself, film it, put it on youtube, then blog it. Great plan, Rose. Great plan.

On a photography related note: New work coming to the blog after easter, PLUS I am shooting next week. Very excited. It’s hard to believe I have only done 3 shoots this year. But I can’t say I haven’t enjoyed a bit of a break to clear my head.
