Fallen Rose Media is me, Rose. I make images, still and moving.

Filmmaking came first, through my love of drama. Whilst in film school, I was encouraged to get a still camera and also take up photography, and have never looked back. I completed a professional mentorship in Cinematography through Youth Arts Queensland in 2008, and since then have been focussing on my fashion photography, pushing myself until I can call it my full time job. The big dream is for photography to support my filmmaking.

I often get asked why I photograph Fashion, and not landscapes, weddings, families etc. Mainly because I have a strong ‘passion’ for fashion, and I love how creative you can get with a team of models, makeup artists, stylists and hair stylists. This year I will also be bringing back film into my life, making some moving editorials.

Why should you read my blog?

I’m one of those people who has never been able to keep up with a diary or a blog. I end up running out of things to say, or rather, think my things to say aren’t that interesting.

So I’ve decided to keep this blog simple. I’m not one for words, so images and video will dominate the posts. Not just my own work, but inspiration that I find online from emerging and established artists in the worlds of fashion, film and photography.
